I occasionally use Kagi Assistant for research, finding sources, etc.

I have played around a little with using local models via llama.cpp.

I have critiqued a code review generated by Claude Code, and I tried out Kiro at a workplace hackathon but found it very annoying. I used Rovo in Jira once and it was completly useless.

I remain very skeptical of the value of LLMs for most tasks, but there are clearly certain jobs where (in the hands of a sufficiently experienced user) they can be a huge time saver.

I detest any organisation that requires me to talk to a chatbot to access support. The one upside is that they usually respond to a demand to bypass their previous instructions and connect me immediately with a human (as has long been the dream).
