Summary

I joined the LocalLoop team after developing an interest in local economy spending and alternative currencies. With a server written in Perl, a Web front-end built with Angular and a mobile app. I had a suite of new tools and technologies to get to grips with, as well as setting out a new development plan for an otherwise-stalled project.

Ultimately, everyone involved with the project moved onto other things, but it served as a useful learning experience for me and an informative prototype for ideas that would then be developed further in other projects.
