The precursor to my current site, Oh What? Oh Jeez! (title from someone’s exclamation in an episode of Food Battles of Destiny, a project within the CSX umbrella) was my first attempt at making a website. Featuring blog and portfolio sections much as my current site, the first version also included a limited form of CMS because I didn’t know what WordPress was.
Oh What? Oh Jeez! v1.0; they grow up so fast

For v1.0, I knew nothing about CMSs (what’s a WordPress) and had self-taught myself everything I knew, web-development-wise. I think I acquitted myself rather well, effectively building a rudimentary CMS of my own from scratch. There are even some features of it I miss now that I’m on WordPress that I might try to add in/find a Plugin for, such as being able to click individual paragraphs when viewing articles in admin mode to activate a WYSIWYG editor for that paragraph, without a page change.
