Summary

This is probably my least-favourite Tab piece. Sure, there were others that caused me more grief, and others that were more forced, but the comments about women in computer science in this one have aged particularly poorly. The worst part is not just that it reinforced negative stereotypes (though a few of my fellow-students were quick to make me aware that it did), but that it did so so lazily. If my desire to avoid such hackery in future has the positive side-effect of limiting such detrimental impacts, then that sounds like win-win.
